Roach played before...then the crowd dispersed rather promptly. Although, sadly, a lot of the people singing scars as loud as they could stayed. Coincidence probably..

I actually really enjoyed the Sonisphere gig, there was so much energy and passion in that performance - I did not see that with many of the other bands. Papa Roach are something special. I'll keep going back time and again to see them if they continue to play in that way. I don't mind what songs they play. And I happen to like Scars, not as much as some other songs, but enough that I love to hear it. It's so different hearing a song live than as a recording. The only other band at that festival who were as good as PR were Motley Crue. Iron Maiden, Rammstien and Alice Cooper were all awesome, and I loved their sets, but for me, that weekend was all about PR and MC. It was a shame it was such a short set, but they were one of the smaller bands at that festival - PR are not going to be headlining with a lineup like that! And they had 45 minutes, most bands had between half an hour and 45 minutes, a couple had an hour, and only the headliners had more than that. I know they're our favorite band, but the headliners (except Rammstein) have been around for decades and have such a huge fan base, PR are not that old yet!!

You simply cant have a rant over a Festival Setlist. You cant expect them to play older songs that arent singles. Festival setlists, unfortuntately due to time restrictions, are always gonna remain like Greatest Hits sets.. its a shame but its the way it has to be.

I challenge you to go a normal headline show, especially in the UK and have the same rant, i promise you.. you wont! They still tear the place up!

Indeed, and you get to piss all over the floor.

To be fair, I dont enjoy watching Roach as a support act or at a festival, unless they are headlining, but that hasnt happened in the UK for 9 years.

Roach at festivals or opening for someone else is one of the most frustrating experiences you'll ever have. Even worse if you're not down front for the show. And if you can't have the satisfaction of being able to pee on a cold hard floor amongst fellow diehard fans without their knowledge, then what IS the point indeed.

They're headlining a festival here. Should be fun:

Papa Roach
Monster Magnet
Sammy Deluxe & Tsunami Band
Norbert Schneider & Band
Pannonia Allstars Ska Orchestra
The Sorrow
Heaven's Basement
The Lotus Effect

You've get everything on there actually.

Papa Roach good solid rock show
Monster Magnet singer should watch his weight rock
Sammy Deluxe is a rapper from Germany
Norbert Schneider, probably Austrian folk (we call it Schlager)
Pannonia Allstars Ska Orchestra...
The Sorrow Austrian Metalcore band, with melodic death metal influences here and there. I quite like them actually.
Heaven's Basement???
The Lotus Effect???

Wonder if they'd do a short jam with Monster Magnet. Have they ever toured or played together? Is there even the slightest connection between both bands? I have no idea...

Oh well, I'm over it.

I'll just focus on the fact that I got to see them again, and let the setlist fall out of my head.

That's it son, you back down. Remember there is no 'I' in 'Team' but there is an 'I' in 'Meat Pie', 'Team' is an anagram of 'Meat'.
