Holy shit. What an amazing, goosebump-inducing piece of work. One of their masterpieces imo.

Best PR song ever. For me: 1. MHIAF 2. Sometimes and 3. Stop Looking Start Seeing.

But I can't understand Coby, I mean MHIAF and Reckless are very contrary and they are on the same album. A bit weird, but I hope I understood the lyrics correctly.

Which is why TPS is my least favourite Roach album. No consistency throughout.

"You don’t notice me
I’m sick of you
God I am done with you"

and

"Thank god I’ve got a woman...

I’m reckless
So reckless
God save me
From this madness"

I mean wtf?!

Btw "Reckless" is even more nonsense because coby said that he doesn't like religion: "I'm no catholic or buddhist"

You dont have to follow a religion to believe in a God.

I know that but why would someone write "screw you god Im done with you" and then "thank you god"? But yeah my second point was dumb.

God is also an expression, like "Oh for God's sake" or "Oh God, I am done with you" it may not specificly relate to 'God'.

Haha, I have never looked at it like that at all. There is no way it's about religion, it's about being at your wits end "God save me from this madness". Like everyone says regardless of religious beliefs like when they see something disgusting or alarming they say "Oh my God" etc

Not all of the songs are just about Jacoby either.

Yep, good point. I forget that sometimes. Because of how passionate he sings the songs you would always think it is. It's quite a skill actually when you think about it.

This is without a doubt the most unique take on that song I have ever heard. Which is actually kinda cool.

Because most Christian rock songs contains lyrics like, "goddamn son of a bitch" lol. But yea, I agree about MHIAF. Amazing amazing song imo. So powerful, especially the last minute or 2. It doesn't bug me at all that different songs on the same album have different lyrical vibes. It's called emotion. I change my views on items on a daily basis. I'm sure rock stars do too lol.
