So, the Connection has had more than enough time to sink in, and Papa Roach are busy recording their next album. Does anyone still rate the connection?

I place the album above Metamorphosis, but still can't award it anymore than second to last place on my list of Papa Roach albums. Where Did The Angels Go is a pretty standout track, and the b-sides were awesome, as always is the case with P-roach B-sides.

I'm definitely liking it more as time goes on. I tend to like it more when I just pop it on without listening to any other Papa Roach first.

Actually...it's my second favorite album. Every song to me is fantastic. It's second to LHT in case you're wondering. :)

2nd/3rd favorite album for me.
GAWM is first. Tie between LHT and The Connection.

God, I love The Connection so much. I honestly think it's tied for first for me. I think it's perfect from beginning to end. To this day, there isn't a song that I ever skip. I can't believe it's been out for almost two years now!

You better check Linkin Park Hunting Party .. this shit is heavy and amazing, for me, papa roach fan since 2000, I think LP did better job than PR with their album

2 years later and I'm sold.

If "Time For Annihilation" was a jab, then "The Connection" was a solid right cross.

"The Connection" is the most complete Papa Roach album you could ask for which bridges fans from every era in the band's history to one album.

From soundtrack song "Even If I Could" to singles "Still Swingin" "Leader of the Broken Hearts" the album won't let up(no pun) all the way to the b-sides, "What's Left Of Me" "Set Me Off". Hell I haven't even gotten to the meat and potatoes of the album "Where Did the Angels Go" "Give Me Back My Life" "Not That Beautiful."

The music is deep and well thought out in many layers "Before I Die," the lyrics painfully honest "Wish You Never Met Me," production top notch "As Far as I Remember."

In my opinion it is the 2nd best album Papa Roach has put out to date, returning them to the top of many rock music fans playlists. "Infest" edges it out, but when you consider "Infest" carried over six songs from Papa Roach's earlier work, "The Connection" is a job well done. 8)
