I left this show wondering WTF with NYC. Why? Because literally everywhere else I've seen Roach outside of NYC is just a better crowd. Providence was no exception. For me the best local shows were always Starland (NJ) because attendance was always high (if not sold out) and the crowd is way into it. But I gotta say that Providence is up there too. At least for Roach crowds in the last few years. It's just so much better when the crowd is crazy into it too as you all know.

Highlights: um... CRASH WAS PLAYED asdlkj@O*&Q@!! I haven't seen that in like 4 years. I was delighted. I'm loving the TFA stuff live. Jacoby got the whole crowd jumping to Enemy and BWNDWE went off too. The setlist order has been changed up, pushing Forever to an earlier slot as well as BAAI. Offhand (as per usual) I can't remember the order of the whole night though. Static Summer opened and sounded good. The other two band names escape me but I thought they were good too. Lowlights? Uh, the usual annoying teenage couples who choose to dirty dance at strange times. Like the other night at Rise Against. You wouldn't think that Help Is On the Way would get the hormones going, but I guess I was wrong. Also apparently Ready to Fall is the cue to get up on a bar and dance like a 'ho. But I digress. Anyway...

Setlist:
Dead Cell
Last Resort
BAAI

BWNDWE

GAWM (opener)
Scars

To Be Loved
Forever
Crash
Time Is Running Out

Lifeline
Hollywood Whore

The Enemy
One Track Mind
Kick In The Teeth
Burn

Thanks for the review!

Wonder when they'll throw in NMW (as a regular song that is).

Not too stoked on the setlist. It was great to see Blood and Take me pop up during last year's summer Euro tour.

Hope they're not steering away from throwing in some deep album cuts again.

Surprised that Metamorphosis selections have been cut down. TIRO is fun, but I guess I'd rather hear Into The Light or Change Or Die in place of it.

Here was my view (taken with my Canon point & shoot). I was on the first raised level off the floor. Awesome for short people.:
